I know I have my fair share of good and bad luck, but the past few days have been really...OMGWTF?!
Firstly, Thursday night I hit a deer on the way home from Jeremy's. I didn't do too much damage to it or the car, it got off with a broken leg and there is now a dent in Sunny's left front fender.
But my bad luck doesn't stop there.
In my LARP the next night, my character - who, might I remind you, has done some stupid shit in the almost year I've been playing her - gets killed. Normally I'd be fine but this was my very first LARP character and my very first LARP character death. I was crushed.
So, already reeling from that, I go back to the out-of-character room to find my iPod and digital camera stolen. FRACK! And there is next to nothing I can do about it now but hope something will turn up somewhere.
Oh, but it still doesn't stop there. Then, on my way home at 1am that same night, I get pulled over by a cop for absolutely no reason at all. I guess I "took a turn too fast". I didn't even screech the tires! Holy shit!
Actually, he thought I was drunk. He did one of the drunk tests. I just laughed inside - I've done that test and passed it when I HAVE been drunk! HAHAHA!
But on the bright side, Saturday afternoon, I got a kitten, and he is curled up asleep on my lap at the moment. ^_^
